Barrel brush painting

I just bought some Pentel water barrel brushes! The water resides in the barrel, the nylon tips pick up the pigment and you apply both to the canvas. The brushes are super easy to clean; all you do is squeeze more water through the tip and voila! Clean brush!

The brushes were a little tricky to figure out how to use at first. You can control the flow of the water by the pressure you exert on the handle. Unfortunately I'm pretty heavy-handed, and my first few attempts were pretty sloppy. I'm using solid water colour bricks at the moment, but I'd like to experiment with a paste medium, which would make colour mixing TONS easier. I shall be posting my first attempts later today.
